Get to know the family
Amber - 14: She is a freshman. She enjoys soccer, running, scary movies, and music. The thing she will miss the most from the house is her irreplaceable pictures of friends and family.

Alissa - 11: She is in fifth grade. She loves soccer, magazines, Hannah Montana, swimming, shopping, and watching movies. Alissa misses the special blanket she recieved when she was at Children’s Hospital.
Emma - 6: She is in kindergarten. She loves playing soccer, Spongebob Squarepants, Littlest Pet Shops, The Little Mermaid, Webkinz, coloring, and puzzles. Emma misses her big doll house the most.
Lisa (Mom): She loves the beach and vacations. There are so many irreplaceables that Lisa has lost. The scrapbooks of each child, the ceramics her mom made, and quilts and blankets made by her grandmother. She’s a huge Jimmy Buffet fan and loves to go camping.

I’ve known Lisa for the past eight years and we became good friends while working evenings and weekends when our kids were little. Lisa is truly genuine, kind-hearted, humble and caring. Lisa is such a strong woman and I know it is extremely difficult for her to be in this position and have to ask for help. She is usually the one giving and organizing and the one you can go to for help. Lisa’s faith in God will get her and her family through this. Please remember Lisa, Amber, Alissa and Emma in your prayers and your donations.

Thank you for this website (what a blessing!)!
Just like Laura, I have known Lisa for many years — we also met through work.
Our friendship has really grown over the past 5-6 years because of an annual “girl’s weekend” (we just had our 5th annual). All of the women in this group have become like sisters.
Lisa has had a rough year. If you met her, however, you’d never know it.
No matter what the situation, she always puts herself last.
Like Laura said, she is such a strong, generous, special woman.
I am so grateful that so many people are helping Lisa & her 3 beautiful daughters.
For once, we won’t allow Lisa to put herself last!
